Yale-New Haven among the 100 best places to work in healthcare
"To be ranked among the best leading healthcare organizations is an honor for Yale-New Haven Hospital," said Paul Patton, vice president of human resources at YNHH. "At Yale-New Haven, our goal remains to set the standard for offering competitive employee benefits, instituting family-friendly policies and ensuring a healthy and satisfied workforce."
Modern Healthcare determined its Best Places to Work in Healthcare through a survey of employers detailing company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Employees were asked in-depth questions in eight core areas: leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits and overall satisfaction.
Yale-New Haven was recently selected by Working Mother magazine as one of the nation's "Best 100 Companies" for working mothers, having previously honored YNHH in 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
