2008 YNHH Employee Survey Results
Yale-New Haven Hospital’s biennial employee survey conducted by a third-party survey group was last administered in May of 2008. According to the results, employee satisfaction is at an all-time high.
The YNHH survey had its best response rate ever – 82% or 5,626 employees participated in the process.
Employees consistently scored YNHH higher than the 2008 National Healthcare Average in the areas of feeling connected to the organization, their managers, their colleagues and their jobs.

- 90% of employees report that they like their work
- 3% of employees report that their benefits compare favorably to those offered at other area organizations
- 89% of employees believe that their work unit provides high quality care and service
- 81% of employees are satisfied with the security of their jobs at YNHH
